The mission of CustomMade goes beyond connecting those looking for custom works with those artisans who create them. We believe it is to teach people that buying custom items is a better value: higher-quality product that is tailored to the specific tastes of a consumer.
Well, we decided to take our own advice when we approached designing and building the next evolution of CustomMade.com. Although all of the website’s infrastructure was custom built to precisely serve the needs of people visiting the website, the most prominent change will be an entirely new look for CustomMade.com.
In internet-lingo, it’s called “crowdsourcing.” But the concept is really simple: find a group of talented artisans and ask them to help take a concept into reality. Much like what CustomMade artisans do for the tens of thousands of people who visit the site every year.
After several iterations, we are excited to take the wrapper off what will surely catapult CustomMade.com into its next era of prominence on the web!
