“Black & white Oneida Shadow plates combined with Andy Warhol plates featuring Campbell Soup labels dotted with glass gems. Glass interior. Charcoal grout. One of a kind, pique assiette (French mosaic style using plate shards) to create functional art: vases, picture frames, planters and candlestick holders. I accept commissions to create tabletop items as well as cremation urns. These can be personalized with small photos or text.”
“Crafted from cherry solids, maple inlay and Baltic birch plywood, the 65″ tall Cascade chest is inspired by the curvaceous forms of perfume bottles. Designed for production, the design makes efficient use of materials with highly repeatable elements. The piece is finished in a hand rubbed oil to highlight the visual qualities of the wood. The Cascade Chest was selected to be exhibited in the Furniture Society booth during the 2007 International Contemporary Furniture fair in New York City.” “Alan Harp Design … because what you want doesn’t exist… yet.
