A Visit to a Local Shop

This past Thursday we put on our jackets and set out to meet our Maker. Well, at least one of them! Where better to head out to on a chilly autumn morning, than the town of Gloucester, MA? Gloucester, among other things, is a popular vacation destination, an important city for the state’s fishing industry, the set for the movie The Perfect Storm, and home to 30,000 Massachusetts residents. It’s also near and dear to us as it’s the home of one of our esteemed makers – the wonderfully inventive Ed Soucy . We got to take a shop tour and get the insider scoop on E.S. Designs / The Menage Gallery.

Ed Soucy , one of the few CustomMade subscribers to have visited our cozy headquarters here in Cambridge, MA, and his trusty business manager Heather, opened the doors for somewhat of a CustomMade field trip.
