Custom Wall Art
If you’re in the market for wall art, what will the custom approach give you? Do you want to commission a unique piece with a particular theme or style? Do you need artwork that will fit in a particular spot in your home, complement your room’s décor, or both? Whatever your preferences, CustomMade artisans can create one-of-a-kind custom wall art with the theme of your choice in any medium you like in any style you can imagine, whether you’re looking for art to hang on the wall or be the wall.
If you’re looking for a work of art that will reflect your or a loved one’s personality, Celtic Art & Otherworld Surprises will bring your vision to life with exquisite pyrography (wood burning). This wood burned and carved basswood animal spirit totem plaque features animals of personal significance selected by the customer. With any custom request, artisan Valarie Connell will review the artwork with you before it is burned into the wood to ensure the piece is exactly what you had in mind.
Shadow boxes can help celebrate the achievements of a loved one and are attractive custom wall art pieces in their own right. Greg Seitz Woodworking will create custom shadow boxes to honor a variety of accomplishments, such as athletics, Scouting, police service, or military retirement, such as the one shown below. The display cases can be made from your choice of various domestic hardwoods.
Fitting in Space
How do you fit a planet into a kitchen backsplash? This beautiful hand-cut glass mosaic, “Birth of a Planet,” by Showcase Mosaics, has been installed in a restaurant conference room but can also be custom sized to fit the dimensions of your home.
Fitting Your Style
Do you have a favorite theme, design style, or furniture piece that you would like to complement with a work of custom wall art? The customer who commissioned David Sheppard of Southwest Style Décor to build the California ranch custom lamp contacted him again to create a wall hanging with the same themes as the lamp: yoga, flowers, jazz, and the women of the Roaring 20’s. All of these subjects were incorporated anew in a custom ranch copper shadow box, made in the same rustic western style from copper, exotic hardwood, rusted iron, and antique hardware.
