Custom Made with Lasers
The laser is a versatile tool that CustomMade artisans can use to cut materials, create engravings, and produce photorealistic designs on a wide range of media, such as wood, metal, glass, and stone. Here are just a few examples of the many things that can be custom made with lasers.
Lasers can cut materials in either complex or stylized patterns. The cherry veneer in this Frank Lloyd Wright lightbox, adapted from Wright’s famous “Tree of Life” window from the Darwin Martin House, was laser cut by the artisans of Lightwave Laser, a licensed manufacturer of The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
Lasers can also be used to cut metals such as the copper flames on these world championship barbecue trophies custom made by Innovative Fabricators, Inc., for the 2009 and 2010 “Memphis in May” World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest.
A personalized engraving on a cherished treasure will endure as long as the object itself. The artisans of Custom Caseworks/Precision Laser & CNC can laser engrave messages on a wedding time capsule or the date and a decorative filigree design on the glass cover of a wedding dress shadow box.

Dynamic Laser Image can reproduce your photos as designs on almost any kind of solid surface through laser etching. The laser-etched scene on this glass custom back splash was based on a customer’s photograph of the view from their deck.
Images from photos of a customer’s koi pond were laser etched onto this black granite tile and then hand painted and sealed.
