Handcrafted Golf Putter
While there are no strict rules about exactly what types of clubs the average golfer keeps in their arsenal, the “putter” is certainly one of those clubs almost no golfer goes without. While many modern putters these days are made of metal, our VP of Marketing, Adam, decided to take the opportunity to “go old school” and order a handcrafted wooden putter. A quick search on CustomMade for the word putter, lead Adam to CustomMade maker Brian Noel of Bearkat Wood in Sinks Grove, WV who had some portfolio examples of just what he was looking for.
“It was an absolute pleasure working with Brian on my custom putter project. I had a rough idea of a putter design and he was able to provide examples of work he’s done before, and even sent over descriptions of all the different types of wood he could use for the project. He was upfront and honest about pricing and delivery time, and the project was completed exactly as promised. The best part is not only is the putter gorgeous – it works great! I would certainly work with him again on future custom projects!”
Here are some action shots of the putter being made by Bearkat Wood.

I have used a BearKat Wood putter on the green and love it. My mom and dad also each have their own BearKat Wood Putters and use them every time they go golfing. My dad’s is shaped like a framing hammer, he has been in construction his whole life and says he always putts the straightest with that putter.
