Creative Custom Displays by FAB PDX
Do you have an idea that is so specific, so unusual, that you despair of ever finding anything like it? A mountain. An accounting theme tabletop mini-golf course. A tailgating trailer for an Oregon Ducks fan.
Yes, the Oregon Ducks.
There is a custom solution.
CustomMade artisans FAB PDX specialize in “building unique pieces that require creative ideas and solutions.” FAB stands for “Fabrication, Artistry, Building,” and the team of owners/designers Brian Crawford, Emily Stutzman, and Michael Gabriel strives to “create art in everyday products” with their artistic abilities, full woodworking and metalworking facilities, and reclaimed and repurposed materials whenever possible. Take a look at a few of their one-of-a-kind custom sporting goods and custom retail displays.
This custom tailgating trailer was built from scratch for a dedicated fan of the Oregon Ducks. It features a sound system, kegerator, keg hook-ups, refrigerator, BBQ grill, stainless steel countertops, AND a pop-up/fold-out flat screen TV. Check out the project gallery page for more pics from multiple views. In short, this trailer has everything to make the tailgating experience complete. Don’t want your alma mater to be outdone on the parking lot? Contact FAB PDX and let the pregames begin.
An accounting firm commissioned FAB PDX to build this tabletop golf course as an interactive display to share with their clients. The game includes two mini-putters and many obstacles. That 70-hour work week looks like a doozy. (I hope they manage to steer clear of the cookbook trap). There are more pics of the game, including close-ups, on the project gallery page. If you have an idea for a business-themed game or interactive display, talk to the designers at FAB PDX.
The Hydro Flask water bottle company wanted a custom trade show booth that would highlight their products’ ability to keep liquids hot or cold for long periods of time. The exhibit features a 12′ tall mountain with both hot and cold sides to display the bottles, two small banner stands made from oak branches, a “Hydro Pub” for serving hot and cold water, two split log live edge display racks, and a metal armature for supporting large banners. The fixtures were made from reclaimed and naturally felled wood. Read more about this project, the first built by the artisans in their workshop in the semi-industrial arts district in Portland, OR, on the FAB PDX blog. If your business needs custom displays and fixtures for trade shows or retail spaces, discuss your requirements with FAB PDX.
