Another aspect of my art that I really enjoy is finding the right person who loves it as much as I do. Meeting the customer one-on-one and finding a good home for the sculpture brings the process to a satisfying close. Many times I don’t feel that the art is really as successful as it could be until it’s hanging in someone’s home.

In 2010, the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Ft. Myers, FL, held an exhibit, “Turn Turn Turn: The Artistic Synthesis of Vinyl into Art,” that challenged the participants to use vinyl records and album covers to create works of art. Artisan Les Gorsuch created this custom guitar sculpture, which won a 2nd Place/Honorable Mention award. Vinyl records were used to laminate this 2-to-1-scale plywood replica of a Les Paul guitar and create the musical notes on the copper staff along the base.
