The changing colors and crunchy carpet of fallen leaves are sure signs of autumn, and woodturning artisan Richard Erkes of It’s Ric’s Turn has captured both in this one-of-a-kind maple bowl, “Covered in Leaves.” The layered leaves on the cover look like leaves scattered on the ground, and the bowl is naturally chatoyant.  It changes colors as you view it from different angles.  Contact the artisan for a similar custom designed piece.
